Helping 3rd Graders Enjoy Pomona's
Native American Collection
Since 2012 the Rembrandt Club has been providing funds to transport local elementary students to view Pomona College's incredible Native American Study Center Collection (NACSC), and providing docents for the events as well. This gives the children a chance to view and even handle (with gloves on) the artifacts that bring their 3rd-grade history program to life.
Rembrandt member Ritva Sangdahl and students explore basket-weaving techniques.
Museum Associate Director Steve Comba prepares students to handle artifacts.
